Perspectives of the archive professional under the view of audiovisual works

Resumo: The study aims to investigate the representation of the archival professional and his working environment in works in audiovisual format. It is characterized by a qualitative descriptive study, with content analysis techniques, where after literary review and contextualization of the topics covered, five national works were selected in the series format (a documentary and the rest characterized as works of fiction) launched between 2018 and 2020, and available on streaming platforms. The results present the description and reflection of what is represented on the scene with regard to the universe of archives and their professionals. Among the conclusions, it was noted that no represented character was characterized or identified as an archivist, either in dialogues or images. In general, the works conveyed the idea that the user himself can quickly and accurately locate the information he wants, without the guidance and assistance of a professional.

Se caracteriza como un estudio descriptivo, en carácter cualitativo, con técnicas de análisis de contenido, que, tras una revisión literaria y contextualización de los temas abarcados, ha seleccionado cinco obras nacionales en el formato serie (un documentario y los demás caracterizados como obras de ficción) publicadas entre los años 2018 y 2020, disponibles en plataformas de streaming. Los resultados presentan a la descripción y reflexión de lo que es representado en escena en lo que se refiere al universo de los archivos y sus profesionales. Entre las conclusiones, se ha notado que ningún personaje representado ha sido caracterizado o identificado como archivista, sea por diálogos o imágenes. En general las obras transmitieron la idea de que el propio usuario puede localizar de forma rápida y precisa la información que desea, sin la orientación y el auxilio de un profesional.O estudo tem como objetivo investigar a representação do profissional de arquivo e seu ambiente de trabalho em obras no formato audiovisual. Caracteriza-se por um estudo descritivo de caráter qualitativo, com técnicas de análise de conteúdo, e após revisão literária e contextualização dos temas abordados, foram selecionadas cinco obras nacionais no formato série (um documentário e o restante caracterizadas como obras de ficção) lançadas entre os anos de 2018 e 2020, e disponíveis em plataformas de streaming. Os resultados apresentam a descrição e a reflexão do que é representado em cena no que se refere ao universo dos arquivos e os seus profissionais. Entre as conclusões, notou-se que nenhuma personagem representada foi caracterizada ou identificada como arquivista, seja em diálogos ou imagens.
