Resumo: The article deals with initiatives and new forms of interaction and access in digital environment of the National Archives of Brazil. It aims to present how the institution fits into the context of the digital humanities, contextualize it in the universe of portuguese language national archives and present its digital resources, which enhance the browsing experience on its website. The elaboration of the work, with qualitative approach, happens by observation and comparison with other archives of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP). Created in 1838, the Brazilian National Archives aims at the management, collection, technical processing, preservation and dissemination of the Brazilian documentary heritage. New technologies and new media have changed the way institutions of memory and the social and human sciences areas develop their work. With the implementation and diversification of services and products, it is intended to prove that the institution stands out among the portuguese language archives, which can make it a reference.

Su objetivo es presentar la forma en que la institución se inserta en el contexto de las humanidades digitales, contextualizarla en el universo de los archivos nacionales de habla portuguesa y presentar sus recursos digitales, que perfeccionan la experiencia de navegación en su sitio web. El trabajo, de enfoque cualitativo, se realiza por observación y comparación con otros archivos de la Comunidad de Países de Lengua Portuguesa (CPLP). Creado en 1838, el Archivo Nacional de Brasil tiene por objeto la gestión, la recopilación, el procesamiento técnico, la preservación y la difusión del patrimonio documental brasileño. Las nuevas tecnologías y los nuevos medios de comunicación cambiaron la forma en la cual las instituciones de memoria y las áreas de las ciencias sociales y humanas desarrollan su trabajo. Con la implantación y diversificación de sus servicios y productos, se pretende demostrar que la institución se destaca entre los archivos de lengua portuguesa, lo que puede convertirla en una referenciaO artigo trata das iniciativas e novas formas de interação e acesso em ambiente digital do Arquivo Nacional do Brasil. Tem por objetivo apresentar como a instituição se insere no contexto das humanidades digitais, contextualizá-la no universo dos arquivos nacionais de língua portuguesa e apresentar seus recursos digitais, que aperfeiçoam a experiência de navegação em seu sítio eletrônico. A elaboração do trabalho, de abordagem qualitativa, acontece por observação e comparação com outros arquivos da Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP). Criado em 1838, o Arquivo Nacional brasileiro tem como finalidade a gestão, o recolhimento, o processamento técnico, a preservação e a divulgação do património documental brasileiro. As novas tecnologias e as novas mídias mudaram a maneira na qual as instituições de memória e as áreas das ciências sociais e humanas desenvolvem seus trabalhos.
