Resumo: | The development of this article stemmed from the desire to understand the informational and documental situation installed with the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Brazil, especially those produced and disseminated by the Federal Government. Thus, the general objective was to understand the relationship between official records, produced by the Brazilian federal government during the pandemic period, and disinformation processes. We also sought to relate this scenario to the precepts of Information Literacy, understanding that such skills are essential in combating disinformation. Research with a qualitative approach was developed, using bibliographical and documental research procedures. Two nationally valid documents were selected, with an orientation contrary to internationally recommended prevention measures, proving that the discourse presented aggravated the pandemic in Brazil. In this context, Information Literacy proved to be essential to enable subjects to research, use, and share true information so that there is no situation of misinformation that would jeopardize the correct handling of a health emergency, such as the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic. and identify that even archival documents, with inherent diplomatic characteristics, can be vectors of misinformation and propagators of an infodemic. |
