Resumo: | This is a case study research that analyzed the influences from a Program of Tutorial Education group for students’ formation in a chemical teacher education course. Documental analysis was used to gather data about drop out/conclusion rate and both the academic and professional pathways of the students. The students’ perceptions about the influences of the program in their pathways were investigated by means of a questionnaire that was assessed based on content analysis. The findings revealed low dropout (7,7%) and high completion rate (92,3%); strong interesting for education in post-graduation level (69,5%) and teaching as the main professional path (69,5%). According to students, academic experiences fostered these contributions, Educative and research activities were pointed out like the most influencer in their academic and professional choices |

Para isso, foram considerados dados obtidos por análise documental acerca da taxa de evasão/conclusão, da continuidade da formação acadêmica e da atuação profissional de seus egressos. Percepções dos petianos egressos quanto à influência do PET nessa trajetória foram investigadas a partir de um questionário analisado em termos de conteúdo. Os resultados produzidos indicaram baixa evasão (7,7%) e alto índice de conclusão (92,3%) de seus integrantes, opção pela pós-graduação (69,5%) e escolha da docência como destino principal (69,5%).
