Between linguistics and didactic: integrated learning development in primary school in Portugal

Resumo: | Being a teacher requires a specific basic training, which, according to Shulman (1987), is based on the intersection between pedagogical knowledge and content knowledge, in a triangulation with the knowledge of the context. A teacher training based on this theoretical framework will favor the development of more sustained and updated practices, which are crucial for the development of multiple competencies and for the approach of various (trans)disciplinary contents. In this article, we will reflect on the possible and necessary bridges between Linguistics and Didactics, advocating an inseparability between the teaching of language and literature in the first years of formal education. We will present as evidence the content analysis of a weekly integrating route for the 1st and 2nd years of schooling of the #EstudoEmCasa program, which took place during the first confinement in Portugal, in the context of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. |

La formación del profesorado basada en este marco teórico favorecerá el desarrollo de prácticas más sostenidas y actualizadas, cruciales para el desarrollo de competencias múltiples y para el abordaje de diversos contenidos (trans) disciplinarios. En este artículo reflexionaremos sobre los puentes posibles y necesarios entre Lingüística y Didáctica, abogando por una inseparabilidad entre la enseñanza de la lengua y la literatura en los primeros años de educación formal. Presentaremos como evidencia el análisis de contenido de una ruta integradora semanal para el 1º y 2º año de escolaridad del programa #EstudoEmCasa, que tuvo lugar durante el primer confinamiento en Portugal, en el contexto de la pandemia provocada por COVID-19.Ser professor implica uma formação de base específica, que, segundo Shulman (1987), assenta-se na interseção entre o conhecimento pedagógico e o conhecimento do conteúdo, numa triangulação com o conhecimento do contexto. Uma formação docente baseada neste quadro teórico favorecerá o desenvolvimento de práticas mais sustentadas e atualizadas, determinantes para o desenvolvimento de competências múltiplas e para a abordagem de vários conteúdos (trans)disciplinares. Neste artigo, refletiremos sobre as pontes possíveis e necessárias entre a Linguística e a Didática, advogando uma inseparabilidade entre o ensino da língua e da literatura nos primeiros anos de ensino formal.
