Resumo: | The results of the last elections in Brazil are the most explicit expression of the wide-ranging transformations underway in Brazilian society. After a cycle (2002-16) of center-left political hegemony in Brazil under the Federal Government, we are witnessing the rise of right-wing political movements with ample social force and ideological diffusion. In the midst of this context, we present as a sociological problem, based on the perspective of the works of Lukács (2010; 2018) - to identify the political-ideological character and the historical sense of discourses that circulate in the public sphere of actors and political groups linked to these emerging movements from the right in Brazil? To support our analysis, we intentionally selected speeches and information from publicly available electronic sources with relevant characteristics for understanding the recent situation. In general, it was possible to identify that the emergence process of right-wing political actors with combative and militant discourses, brings to light conservative, authoritarian and even reactionary characteristics that have roots in the history of Brazilian social formation. Finally, we note the regression trends of the precarious cycle of social citizenship that Brazilian society experienced in the last period, taking shape a process of de-democratization still underway. |
