Resumo: Objective: The study analyses the use of a social network as a tool for activism of a group situated in the margins of the current political scenario of Brazil. It aims to reveal the narratives of trans men on Facebook as constructed within the group “Homens trans e simpatizantes” (Trans men and allies). Methods: It uses the Discourse Analysis, in order to develop qualitative research. Results: It was identified that the narratives involved questions related to family, health, and prejudice. The context of the trans men’s narratives remained the same in relation to the previous studies, when not, it worsened in terms of the positiveness, which directly influences in the way these subjects are understood and act in society. Conclusions: It was concluded that social media is important for activism and the socialization of experiences of these subjects in information environments.

El trabajo pretende revelar cómo se han construido las narrativas de los hombres trans en las publicaciones del grupo de Facebook “Homens trans e simpatizantes”. Método: utiliza el método de Análisis del Discurso, con un enfoque cualitativo. Resultado: se identificó que las narrativas permearon por cuestiones de familia, salud y prejuicios. El contexto de las narrativas de los hombres trans se mantuvo igual en relación a estudios anteriores, cuando no, empeoró en cuanto a la positividad de los mensajes, lo que influye directamente en la forma en que estos sujetos son entendidos y actúan en la sociedad. Conclusiones: se concluye destacando la importancia del grupo analizado para el caso de los hombres trans y el potencial de las redes sociales en el proceso de militancia, como forma de sociabilidad en entornos informacionales.Objetivo: a presente pesquisa analisa o uso de uma mídia social como ferramenta de ativismo para um grupo politicamente situado na margem do cenário político atual do Brasil. O trabalho objetiva revelar como as narrativas de homens trans vêm sendo construídas em postagens do grupo do Facebook “Homens trans e simpatizantes”. Método: utiliza o método Análise do Discurso, com abordagem qualitativa. Resultado: identificou-se que as narrativas perpassaram por questões de família, saúde e preconceito. O contexto das narrativas de homens trans continuou o mesmo em relação a estudos anteriores, quando não, piorou em questão de positividade das mensagens, o que influi, diretamente, no modo como esses sujeitos são compreendidos e atuam em sociedade.
