Resumo: This study aims to identify, understand and problematize the meanings attributed by the production of knowledge in Physical Education in relation to discussions about sexuality in the school context through specific Brazilian Physical Education journals. Methodologically, this is a quantitative-qualitative research that is theoretically and analytically supported by references to post-critical theories. In the 13 journals investigated there were 04 publications focusing on gender/sexuality and 03 specific publications on sexuality, which were described and analyzed throughout the study. These data corroborate with the need for more studies and publications about the issues of sexuality in the school environment that may contribute to the formation of Physical Education teachers and their pedagogical practices, in order to, above all, encourage respect for plurality.

La metodología trata-se de una investigación quanti-qualitativa, cujas analices fueran sustentadas en referenciales de las teorías póst-críticas. De los trece periódicos investigados, 04 publicaciones discutían la relación entre género/sexualidad y 03 enfocaban específicamente la sexualidad. Estos estudios fueran descritos y analizados y corroboran la necesidad de seguir estudios y publicaciones sobre las cuestiones de la sexualidad en el contexto escolar que puedan contribuir a la formación de los profesores de educación física y sus prácticas pedagógicas, a fin de, sobre todo, de ampliar el conocimiento y respeto a la pluralidad.Este estudo tem como objetivo identificar, compreender e problematizar os significados atribuídos pela produção de conhecimento em Educação Física em relação às discussões sobre sexualidade no contexto escolar através de periódicos brasileiros específicos da Educação Física. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem quanti-qualitativa, sustentada teórica e analiticamente em referências das teorias pós-críticas. Nos 13 periódicos investigados, foram encontradas 04 publicações enfocando a relação gênero/sexualidade e 03 publicações específicas sobre sexualidade, que foram descritas e analisadas ao longo deste estudo.
