Resumo: The mega provide several discussions at universities, academic events and also in informal moments. Amidst all these reflections, this study aims to discuss the mega sports events in order to understand and point out how they can reflect on the training of future teachers of Physical Education. The empirical phase was conducted with students of Degree in Physical Education, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).

En medio a tantas reflexiones, este estudio pretende discutir los megaeventos deportivos en el sentido de comprender y apuntar cómo ellos pueden reflejar en la formación de los futuros profesores de Educación Física. La fase empírica fue realizada con académicos del curso de Licenciatura en Educación Física, de la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC).  Os megaeventos proporcionam diversas discussões nas universidades, eventos acadêmicos e também em momentos informais. Em meio a tantas reflexões, este estudo pretende discutir os megaeventos esportivos no sentido de compreender e apontar como eles podem refletir na formação dos futuros professores de Educação Física.
