Resumo: In this paper we reflect on the assumptions of the theory of cultural-historical activityand motor skills training on high school volleyball experienced by academic traineesDEFD/PUCGO. To better understand this context, we analyzed documents andparticipant observation as a methodology to achieve the overall objective of the study:To assess whether the lessons taught in school experienced Volleyball have contributedto the theoretical learning of motor skills and training from the perspective of culturalhistorical theory activity. It was observed that this is a highly relevant for the trainingof students and the community’s children, but do not follow the principles proposedby this theory. It was concluded that it is a reflection detail to better weave the goalsof academic activities with the conscious development of motor skills by childrenparticipating in the process.

It was concluded that it is a reflection detail to better weave the goalsof academic activities with the conscious development of motor skills by childrenparticipating in the process. Neste texto fizemos uma reflexão sobre os pressupostos da teoria histórico-cultural da atividade e a formação das habilidades motoras no contexto do ensino vivenciado de voleibol pelos acadêmicos estagiários do DEFD/PUC-GO. Para entender melhor este contexto utilizamos a análise de documentos e a observação participante como metodologia para alcançar o objetivo geral do trabalho: Analisar se as aulas ministradas no Ensino Vivenciado do Voleibol têm contribuído para a aprendizagem teórica e a formação de habilidades motoras na perspectiva da teoria histórico cultural da atividade. Foi observado que se trata de uma atividade altamente relevante para a formação dos acadêmicos e para as crianças da comunidade, embora não siga os princípios propostos por essa teoria.
