Resumo: The objective of the research was to describe and analyze the elaboration and validation of a didactic unit on the classification of sports in School Physical Education (PES). This is a research with a qualitative and quantitative approach, descriptive and exploratory. Validation was carried out by five specialists and their main suggestions were related to objectives, diversification of didactic strategies, expansion of the concept of internal logic, correction of terminologies and structuring of didactic material. At the end of the evaluation, the recommendations were incorporated into the final version. Regarding the Content Validity Coefficient (CVC) values regarding clarity, pertinence and applicability, they achieved satisfactory and excellent rates. The hybridization of qualitative/quantitative research techniques proved to be complementary for the validation of the didactic unit.  The material is ready to be implemented and its online version will be made available to help teachers/researchers in the planning and implementation of didactic units.

Se trata de una investigación con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, descriptivo y exploratorio. La validación estuvo a cargo de cinco especialistas y sus principales sugerencias estuvieron relacionadas con objetivos, diversificación de estrategias didácticas, ampliación del concepto de lógica interna, corrección de terminologías y estructuración del material didáctico. Al final de la evaluación, las recomendaciones fueron incorporadas a la versión final. En cuanto a los valores del Coeficiente de Validez de Contenido en cuanto a claridad, pertinencia y aplicabilidad, lograron índices satisfactorios y excelentes. La hibridación de técnicas de investigación cualitativas/cuantitativas demostró ser complementaria en el presente estudio. El material está listo para ser implementado y su versión estará disponible para ayudar a los docentes que estudian este tema.O objetivo da pesquisa foi descrever e analisar o processo de elaboração e validação de uma unidade didática sobre a classificação dos esportes nas aulas de Educação Física escolar (EFE). Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem quali-quantitativa descritiva e de caráter exploratório. A validação foi realizada por cinco especialistas e as principais sugestões desses foram em relação aos objetivos, diversificação das estratégias didáticas, ampliação do conceito da lógica interna, correção de terminologias e estruturação do material didático. Ao final da avaliação, as recomendações foram incorporadas na versão final. Sobre os valores do Coeficiente de Validade de Conteúdo (CVC) quanto a clareza, pertinência e aplicabilidade, alcançaram índices satisfatórios e excelentes. A hibridização de técnicas da pesquisa qualitativa/quantitativa se mostrou complementar para a validação da unidade didática.
