Social-historic perspectives in the field of the media-education: contributions to the formation in Physical Education

This article offers reflections about media-education from institutions and researchers. For the election of the subjects of the investigation, it was considered the occurrence and recurrence of the names: i) the dissertation of the master in education of the author who research, through the content analysis and from the media-education, the curricular insertion of the NTIC and the formation of professors in Minas Gerais; ii) the presents productions in the GTT “Communication and Media” of the Conbrace. The proposed dimension like guiding axis allowed reflect about the discussions, the trends and the challenges of the media-education and the social and educative conjuncture. The main point of relevance is the possibility of contribution in the training of teachers, especially in Physical Education, in face of the contemporary educational needs.
