Resumo: | The theoretical essay is intended to be guided by the challenges encountered by teachers and educational institutions in the process of implementing ICTs at school and in the pedagogical practice of the Physical Education teacher. Considering that understanding how to use them in the educational context and having knowledge of all the support and materials necessary for successful use in class, is a task that must be faced by the entire school community. With support in the literature review, it was possible to verify and bring to the debate the main difficulties of integrating ICTs in the school environment, as well as the need for continued training for the school community, in addition to the importance of implementing public policies aimed at teaching in Physical Education classes. |

With support in the literature review, it was possible to verify and bring to the debate the main difficulties of integrating ICTs in the school environment, as well as the need for continued training for the school community, in addition to the importance of implementing public policies aimed at teaching in Physical Education classes.El ensayo teórico tiene el propósito de orientarse en los desafíos encontrados por los profesores e instituciones educativas en el proceso de implementación de las TIC en el ámbito escolar y en la práctica pedagógica del profesor de Educación Física. Considerando que entender cómo utilizarlas en el contexto educativo y tener conocimiento de todo el soporte y materiales necesarios para el buen aprovechamiento en las clases, es una tarea que debe ser encarada por toda la comunidad escolar. Con apoyo en la revisión de la literatura, se han podido constatar y poner en discusión las principales dificultades de la integración de las TIC en el entorno escolar, así como la necesidad de formación continua para la comunidad escolar, además de la importancia de la aplicación de políticas públicas dirigidas a las clases de Educación Física.O ensaio teórico tem o propósito de pautar-se nos desafios encontrados pelos professores e instituições educacionais no processo de implementação das TICs no âmbito escolar e na prática pedagógica do professor de Educação Física. Considerando que entender como utilizá-las no contexto educacional e ter conhecimento de todo o suporte e materiais necessários para o bom aproveitamento nas aulas, é uma tarefa que deve ser encarada por toda a comunidade escolar.
