Resumo: Understanding the arise of Adventure is a necessity for professionals who intend to work in this area. This essay induce reflections about on how historical facts provide a comprehension of the subject. The text is to devide into three points: Adventure as a utility; Adventure in nature from economic factors to leisure; The urban Adventure and the perspectives for the presente times. It is concluded that Adventure awaken a spirit of exploration and daring since its origin and that it has been incorporated into the concepts of leisure, education and competitive sport that are corollaries of modernity.

Este ensayo provoca reflexiones sobre como los hechos históricos permiten compreender el tema. El texto se divide em tres puntos. La Aventura como utilidade; Aventura em la naturaliza desde los factores económicos hasta el ócio; La Aventura urbana y las perspectivas para la actualidad. Se concluye que la Aventura despierta un espíritu de exploración y osadía desde su origen y que se ha incorporado a los conceptos de ócio, educación y deporte competitivo que son corolarios de la modernidade.Compreender o surgimento da Aventura é uma necessidade dos profissionais que pretendem atuar nessa área. Este ensaio provoca reflexões sobre como os fatos históricos proporcionam um entendimento a respeito do tema. O texto se divide em três pontos: A Aventura como utilidade; A Aventura na natureza dos fatores econômicos ao lazer; A Aventura urbana e as perspectivas para a atualidade.
