Resumo: The article presented here proposes to reflect on some of Pierre Bourdieu's concepts and how they emerge on the social network Instagram, through publications and interactions between the actors present there, the disputes for positions and the capital involved in these disputes. To this end, we seek this understanding through an ethnographic work carried out with a group of personal trainers working in the city of Porto Alegre, with active profiles on the social network and a flow of publications that demonstrate their work. Interactions were established in a personal and virtual way with six actors, who returned the initial contact and made it possible to enter the field. As a final debate, we propose, through Bourdieusian theory, to understand how the virtual world, based on images published on digital networks, generates influence and behavior patterns (in professional profiles) and consumption (professional characters as products).

Para ello, buscamos esa comprensión a través de un trabajo etnográfico realizado con un grupo de entrenadores personales que actúan en la ciudad de Porto Alegre, con perfiles activos en la red social y un flujo de publicaciones que demuestran su trabajo. Se establecieron interacciones de manera personal y virtual con seis actores, quienes devolvieron el contacto inicial y posibilitaron el ingreso al campo. Como debate final, proponemos, a través de la teoría bourdieusiana, comprender cómo el mundo virtual, a partir de imágenes publicadas en las redes digitales, genera influencia y patrones de comportamiento (en perfiles profesionales) y consumo (personajes profesionales como productos).O artigo aqui apresentado se propõe a fazer uma reflexão acerca de alguns conceitos de Pierre Bourdieu e como eles emergem na rede social Instagram, através das publicações e interações entre os atores ali presentes, as disputas por posições e os capitais envolvidos nessas disputas. Para tal, buscamos esta compreensão através de um trabalho etnográfico realizado com um grupo de personal trainers atuantes na cidade de Porto Alegre, com perfis ativos na rede social e um fluxo de publicações que evidenciem seus trabalhos. Foram estabelecidas interações de forma pessoal e virtual com seis atores, os quais retornaram o contato inicial e possibilitaram a entrada no campo.
