Resumo: This review unfolds from the book by Ruth Manus, entitled “Anti-machismo Practical Guide: For People of All Genders”. It is, therefore, an objective and reflective guide about sexist structures and the construction of anti-sexist practices. Themes such as parenting, sexual orientation, expected behaviors, influence of the media - movies, TV series, soap operas - in the construction of feminine and masculine stereotypes are addressed and discussed during its 120 pages. With an accessible and inclusive language, Manus' book addresses very important issues beyond an academic denotation, it is a work for everyone.

Com uma linguagem acessível e inclusiva, o livro de Manus aborda questões importantíssimas para além de uma denotação acadêmica, é uma obra para todes.
