Resumo: | This text aims to reflect on the relationships that involved the presence of a male researcher in a public institution of Early Childhood Education. As a result of a study that sought to understand the experiences of children and adults through / in the spaces of the city of Belo Horizonte, especially squares, parks, markets and museums through excursions, the main theoretical and methodological support was ethnographic research in conjunction with collaborative research. During his stay in the field, the researcher was challenged to build more collaborative and relational research relationships with the children and the teacher, seeking to analyze how the researcher's gender identity, expressed in his corporeality, informed the relationship with the children and teacher during the research. |

Fruto de um estudo que buscou compreender as experiências de crianças e adultos pelos/nos espaços da cidade de Belo Horizonte, em especial praças, parques, mercados e museus por meio de excursões, teve como principal aporte teórico-metodológico a pesquisa etnográfica em conjunto com a pesquisa colaborativa.
