Body and childhood in early childhood education research: Nupein trajectories

Resumo: | The article brings together research, linked to the production of Nupein, which give visibility to the different dimensions of the body in childhood education, more notably, its relations with the specificities of teaching and social markers. From a total of 80 master's dissertations and 17 doctoral theses defended in the Nupein research group, 21 were selected, five at the doctoral level and 16 at the master's level. As inclusion criteria, the researches that focused, exclusively or transversally, on the body and childhood and their implications in the educational-pedagogical processes in early childhood education were gathered. Reading the research resulted in two categories of analysis: a) the body as an outline of the specifics of teaching; b) the body and relationships with social markers: gender, ethnicity-race, class and generation. The analyzes point to the relevance of the body in the delimitation of teaching specificities in early childhood education and in the constitution of children's personal and social identities in socialization processes. |

Do total de 80 dissertações de mestrado e das 17 teses de doutorado defendidas no grupo de pesquisa Nupein, foram selecionadas, 21 pesquisas, cinco em nível de doutorado e 16 em nível de mestrado. Como critério de inclusão foram reunidas as pesquisas que se debruçaram, de forma exclusiva ou, transversal, sobre corpo e infância e suas implicações nos processos educativos-pedagógicos na educação infantil. A leitura das pesquisas resultou em duas categorias de análise: a) o corpo como um delineador das especificidades da docência; b) o corpo e as relações com os marcadores sociais: gênero, etnia-raça, classe e geração.
