Resumo: This paper addresses children in situations of displacement/refuge, in search of understanding their experiences. It also analyzes documents available on the website of UNHCR - UN Refugee Agency in the proposal to construct the meanings of the word "child(ren)", “baby(ies)”, “childhood(s)” present in the texts and which portrays the way in which these young people are conceived by the societies that welcome them.
