Resumo: | "From Sea to Sea" is an imago mundi that has defined Canada's national consciousness from "the last spike" to the present. It has served to hegemonically override a range of prepositional possibilities that poetry and poetics in our time has used to relocate a citizen imagination. This talk is a critical and poetical reading of some of the most dynamic prepositions in this cultural lexicon that might help locate a more situational discourse of public selves and relationships. |
