JOURNALISM ON WHATSAPP:: THE CASE OF THE PORTUGUESE PORTAL OBSERVADOR

Resumo: The results presented in this work are based on a case study that explores how the Portuguese news portal Observador makes use of WhatsApp for distribution of journalistic content. The technique of the week built is used to analyze a set of newsletters referring to the month of September 2019 to verify which themes are most explored by the portal's newsroom in the distribution by WhatsApp and the data presented is completed with an interview with the person responsible for the Observador's social networks.

La técnica de la semana construida se utiliza para analizar un conjunto de boletines referidos al mes de septiembre de 2019 para verificar qué temas son los más explorados por la redacción del portal en la distribución de WhatsApp y los datos presentados se completan con una entrevista con el responsable de las redes sociales del Observador.Os resultados apresentados neste trabalho partem de um estudo de caso que explora como o portal de notícias português Observador faz uso do Whatsapp para distribuição de conteúdo jornalístico.
