Resumo: Even though, since 2004, the signing of Decree No. 5,296 oblige the offer of audio description, Libras window and subtitling, it is observed that television programming is fundamentally oriented to a hearing and seeing audience. In this sense, the present work makes a historicization of communicative accessibility on TV, through a review of research and data, with the intention of clarifying how the process for implementing assistive technology services aimed at people with disabilities took place, as well. how to present concepts and characteristics of each of them. En este sentido, el presente trabajo hace una historización de la accesibilidad comunicativa en la televisión, a través de una revisión de investigaciones y datos, con la intención de esclarecer cómo se llevó a cabo el proceso de implementación de los servicios de tecnología asistencial dirigidos a personas con discapacidad. Presentar conceptos y características de cada uno de ellos. Palavras-clave: accesibilidad comunicativa; televisión; recursos de asistencia.Mesmo que, desde 2004, a assinatura do Decreto Nº. 5.296 obrigue a oferta de audiodescrição, janela de Libras e legendagem, observa-se que a programação televisiva é fundamentalmente orientada a uma audiência ouvinte e vidente. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho faz uma historicização da acessibilidade comunicativa na TV, por meio de uma revisão de pesquisas e de dados, com a intenção de esclarecer como se deu o processo para implementação dos serviços de tecnologias assistivas voltados às pessoas com deficiência, bem como de apresentar conceitos e características de cada um deles.
