Resumo: This paper aims to analyze the dimensions of media competence, proposed by Ferrés and Piscitelli (2015), present in the publications of the largest online community of fans of The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu) in Brazil . Created on Facebook in 2017, the group The Handmaid's Tale - Brazil currently has more than 10,000 members, posts include information about the plot, links to download the seasons of the program, impressions about the episodes, among other contents. It is concluded that the fans share their impressions and doubts about the narrative unfoldings, explore new perspectives of the plot, resignificating the narrative arcs.

Criado no Facebook em 2017, o grupo The Handmaid's Tale – Brasil  reúne atualmente  mais de 10 mil membros, os posts abrangem informações sobre a trama, links para download das temporadas do programa, impressões sobre os episódios, entre outros conteúdos.
