Resumo: How transmedia imaginary related to the end of the world theme set up in the scientific discourses on the YouTube platform? In the context of audiovisual and transmedia productions, the end of the world, as an image and narrative, is presented as one of the most prolific themes driving productions in the field of entertainment as well as in the scope of scientific dissemination. This article aims to analyze and develop a cartography about the presence of the end of the world theme in scientific discourses on the YouTube platform, in the discussions about networks and their unfolding in transmedia narratives. The research adopts the method of cartography of imaginaries (Leão) and articulates questions about the concepts of images, imaginary and transmedia narratives in networks (Castells).

No contexto das produções audiovisuais e transmidiáticas, o fim do mundo, enquanto imagem e narrativa, se apresenta enquanto um dos mais profícuos temas impulsionando produções tanto no campo do entretenimento como no âmbito da divulgação científica.
