Centro de Ciências Físicas e Matemáticas. Física.RESUMO A estrutura do Ensino Médio atual é pensada para formação crítica do cidadão que passa pelo processo público de ensino. As normativas, sofrem influências socioeconômicas e chegam até nosso tempo regadas por definições, por ideais e pela cultura moldada na história do homem. Este trabalho trata de destacar alguns pontos da educação, desde a definição de escola, partindo do pensamento base proveniente da Escola de Atenas e como ela chega até as normas atuais na formação no sistema republicano brasileiro. A medida que nos aproximamos de século XXI, o papel da física na vida do educando vem a ser destacado, principalmente pelo fato da evolução de antigas tecnologias e desenvolvimento de novas teorias criarem novas demandas e tendências para a sociedade atual. Tal fato, nos leva a identificar as dificuldades e também as possibilidades para o Ensino de Física, dando atenção para os tópicos de FMC, tendo em vista o potencial oferecido, tanto para o entendimento de questões atuais, quanto para inovações na estrutura curricular, com vistas a uma formação emancipatória. Neste sentido, destacamos a linha histórica que nos leva até o pensamento de Paulo Freire e como a dialética humanizadora pode contribuir com o educador para a integração de tópicos contemporâneos durante as aulas de física do EM. A característica chave da educação libertadora é trabalhar com os saberes culturais e sociais do educando e assim se faz rica em problematização. A FMC, por sua vez, torna-se uma ferramenta para inserção do educando no mundo como um agente transformador da realidade. As possibilidades de se abordar a FMC no âmbito educacional são apresentadas em um quadro conceitual que deve ser avaliado pelo educador e pode ser utilizado dependendo da realidade escolar. Com o intuito de fazer do educando um cidadão ativo na sociedade, analisou-se nos parâmetros curriculares e no programa de avaliação do livro didático, discursos e textos que afirmam essa busca pela criticidade e assim, estreitando a relação entre a FMC e a realidade escolar pelo olhar humanizador de Paulo Freire. Educação Libertadora.ABSTRACT The structure of the current High School is thought for the critical formation of the citizen who goes through the public process of education. The norms, undergo socioeconomic influences and come until our time watered by definitions, ideals and culture shaped in the history of man. This paper tries to highlight some points about the definition of school, starting from the basic thought coming from the School of Athens and how it reaches the normative in the formation in the Brazilian republican system. As we approach the twenty-first century, the role of physics in the life of the student is highlighted, mainly because the evolution of old technologies and development of new theories create new demands and trends for today's society. This fact, leads us to identify the difficulties and also the possibilities for Physics Teaching, paying attention to the topics of Modern and Contemporary Physics (FMC), considering the potential offered, both for the understanding of current issues and for innovations in the curricular structure, with a view to emancipatory formation. In this sense, we highlight the historical line that leads us to the thought of Paulo Freire and how humanizing dialectics can contribute with the educator to the integration of contemporary topics during MS physics classes. The key characteristic of liberating education is to work with the cultural and social knowledge of the learner and thus becomes rich in problematization. The FMC becomes a tool for insertion of the learner into the world as a transforming agent of reality. The possibilities to approach FMC in the educational scope are presented in a conceptual framework that must be evaluated by the educator and can be used depending on the school reality. In order to make the learner an active citizen in society, it was analyzed in the curricular parameters and in the evaluation program of the textbook, speeches and texts that affirm this search for criticality and thus, narrowing the relationship between the FMC and the school reality by the humanizing look of Paulo Freire.
