Resumo: Walter Benjamin will propose as historical materialist task politicization of aesthetics as opposed to the aesthetics of politics, characteristic of fascism. Therefore, it is purpose of this article to analyze the repetition as a stylistic feature that is revealed as a possibility for aesthetic and political resistance. So the writer Thomas Bernard comes here, through his art of exaggeration, with a scripture that calls and makes us think about the need to perpetuate the memory. The Thomas Bernhard’s writing is repeating that prevents the destruction of life and condone Mnemosyne for its perpetuation, for the maintenance of the archive outside the law.
