Tactics in futsal: a study with the elite of Pernambuco coaches

The research aimed to analyze perceptions about tactics of the elite of Pernambuco’s futsal coaches in order to identify contributions for future coaches of this sport. Based on this, the research is characterized by a qualitative approach with in field insertion, in which the technique for data collection was a semi-structured interview and for the analysis the categorical content analysis technique by theme was used. During the research, it was noted that currently Pernambuco’s coaches tend to frequently use 3x1 and 4x0 tactical systems during the games they play, since these specialists take into account important aspects such as: the greater volume of offensive actions, the best defensive balance, and the mobility provided. In addition, this research also revealed that coaches perform tactical variations during the game and consider the 2x2 system as the most favorable to be used in sports initiation.
