Resumo: The general obejective of this research was to analize the knowledge of the physical education teachers, which lecture in the schools of Criciúma/SC, as to the metods of teaching and of the pedagogical criticism proposals of physical education. Thus, was performed a field research, by having a survey as data gathering. In the research, nine physical education teachers take part of the survey. Was concluded that the majority of the teachers comprehends the significance and the goal of this metods of teaching. However, some teachers mislead the metods of teaching with pedagogic physical education proposals. Nevertheless, six of the teachers say organize their classes by means of the critical overcoming proposal.

Nevertheless, six of the teachers say organize their classes by means of the critical overcoming proposal.El objetivo general de esa investigación fue analizar cuáles los conocimientos de profesores de Educación Física, que actúan en escuelas de Criciúma/SC, acerca de los métodos de enseñanza y de lãs propuestas pedagógicas críticas de la Educación Física. Asi, realizamo uma investigación de campo, teniendo como instrumento de recolección de datos, um cuestionario. Participaron de la investigación nueve profesores de Educación Física. Concluimos que la mayoría de esos professores comprende la importancia y lafinalidad de los métodos de enseñanza. Sin embargo, algunos professores confunden métodos de enseñanza conpropuestas pedagógicas de la Educación Física. Además, seis de esos profesores dicen organizar sus clases por médio de la propuesta crítico superadora.O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi analisar quais os conhecimentos de professores de Educação Física, que atuam em escolas de Criciúma/SC, acerca dos métodos de ensino e das propostas pedagógicas críticas da Educação Física. Assim, efetivamos uma pesquisa de campo, tendo como instrumento de coleta de dados, um questionário. Participaram da pesquisa nove professores de Educação Física. Concluímos que a maioria desses professores compreende a importância e a finalidade dos métodos de ensino. Alguns professores, porém, confundem métodos de ensino compropostas pedagógicas da Educação Física. Ademais, seis desses professores dizem organizar suas aulas por meio da proposta crítico-superadora. Palavras chave: Métodos de ensino. Educação Física escolar.
