Educational video as an accessible and inclusive tool to assist teachers in the selection of movies in schools

Resumo: The use of audiovisual resources for educational purposes has drawn the attention of researchers who seek ways to maintain students' interest during pedagogical activities. This article aims to present the results of a research that investigated the evaluation of a group of graduate students of a master's degree in education through a video with inclusive resources and with emphasis on the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This aforementioned video was developed with the intention of helping teachers in the process of selecting films to be used as a pedagogical resource in the classroom. For this, exploratory research with a qualitative approach was made in the period between September 2022 and February 2023. For the production of the video content, it was also made bibliographical research about the steps for selecting films. The inclusive resource was evaluated through an online questionnaire with the aid of the Google Forms tool. Nine graduate students - who were the research subjects - participated. Lastly, it was detected that the resource (educational video) managed to meet its purposes, presenting and disseminating information and concepts in a didactic, inclusive and objective way.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar los resultados de un estudio que investigó la evaluación de un grupo de estudiantes de posgrado de un máster en educación, a través de un vídeo con recursos inclusivos y con énfasis en los principios del Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA). El vídeo en cuestión fue desarrollado con la intención de asistir a los profesores en el proceso de selección de películas para ser utilizadas como recurso pedagógico en el aula. Para eso, se realizó una investigación exploratoria de enfoque cualitativo, durante el período de septiembre de 2022 a febrero de 2023. Para la producción del contenido del vídeo, también se llevó a cabo una investigación bibliográfica sobre los pasos para la selección de películas. El recurso inclusivo fue evaluado mediante un cuestionario en línea con el apoyo de la herramienta Google Forms. Participaron nueve estudiantes de posgrado que fueron los sujetos de la investigación. Al final, se detectó que el recurso (vídeo educativo) logró cumplir con sus propósitos, presentando y divulgando informaciones y conceptos de una manera didáctica, inclusiva y objetiva.O uso de recursos audiovisuais, para fins educativos, tem chamado a atenção de pesquisadores que buscam meios de manter o interesse dos alunos durante atividades pedagógicas. Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa que investigou a avaliação de um grupo de pós-graduandos de um curso de mestrado em educação, por meio de um vídeo com recursos inclusivos e com ênfase nos princípios do Desenho Universal para a Aprendizagem (DUA). O vídeo em questão foi desenvolvido com a intenção de auxiliar professores no processo de seleção de filmes a serem utilizados como recurso pedagógico em sala de aula. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória de abordagem qualitativa, no período de setembro de 2022 a fevereiro de 2023. Para a produção do conteúdo do vídeo, também foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre os passos para a seleção de filmes. O recurso inclusivo foi avaliado por meio de um questionário online com auxílio da ferramenta Google Forms. Participaram nove pós-graduandos que foram os sujeitos de pesquisa.
