Resumo: Since the 90s of the last century, the political and epistemological provisions of inclusive education have provoked Brazilian schools to transform towards more accessible and equitable education. However, this has required reformulations in educational policies in this country. Based on a review of the main international and national documents on school inclusion, this article aims to present a panoramic view of the provisions of the Brazilian regulatory framework, taking into account the effects of the educational paradigm of inclusion on the proposal to offer special education in the regular system. education. The results of this documentary review pointed, first, to the impact of international inclusive education policies on the construction of the legal framework for Brazilian education. Second, they demonstrate a continuous and gradual construction of the new proposal for the education of people with disabilities in Brazil.
