Resumo: | This article discusses the methodological approaches of a qualitative research developed in two animeetings held annually in the city of Fortaleza, SANA 2011 and SANA Fest 2012. This research aims to identify and analyse the identities and subjectivities constructed and developed through the relationship between visualities of Japanese pop culture present in the event and its participants. To do so, participant observation, field diary notes, image registering, and a focus group were carried out in the first event; in the second animeeting, however, the research was focused on tracking a group of cosplayers called Gold Project. |
