Resumo: | In this research, sustained by art, Cultural Studies, and science, we seek to present a brief epistemological path of the Western scientific constitution and its articulations with aesthetic-artistic knowledge, as well as to propose new possible connections between science and art in a postcolonial and postmodern perspective, of knowledge and aesthetics outside the Eurocentric paradigms, and that accept the political and ethical virtuality in the agency of new subjects and histories. Within this epistemological field, we problematize how aesthetic-corporeal knowledge enhances the production of (an)other knowledge(s). As a reflexive device, we find in the Brazilian baroque art (historical period of colonization) and, more specifically, in the painting of Papa negro (Black Pope), present inside the Church of Santa Efigênia, in Ouro Preto-MG, the materialization of aesthetic-corporeal knowledge as metaphors of transformation, in other words, open paths that allow us to imagine what the world would be like if the prevailing cultural values were questioned and transformed. |

Universidade Federal de Santa Maria2022-04-26info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/revislav/article/view/6766810.5902/1983734867668Revista Digital do LAV; Vol. 15 (2022): Revista Digital do LAV, jan./dez. 2022 - Publicação contínua; e8/01-22Revista Digital do LAV; v. 15 (2022): Revista Digital do LAV, jan./dez. 2022 - Publicação contínua; e8/01-221983-73481983-7348reponame:Revista Digital do LAV ( Laboratório de Artes Visuais)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMporhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/revislav/article/view/67668/47048Copyright (c) 2022 Revista Digital do LAVinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBenatti, Lucas MenTeruya, Teresa KazukoMaio, Eliane Rose2022-11-18T20:35:51Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/67668Revistahttp://cascavel.ufsm.br/revistas/ojs-2.2.2/index.php/revislav/PUBhttp://cascavel.ufsm.br/revistas/ojs-2.2.2/index.php/revislav/oairevistadigitaldolav@gmail.com||daniel@rswa.com.br1983-73481983-7348opendoar:2022-11-18T20:35:51Revista Digital do LAV ( Laboratório de Artes Visuais) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)false |
