Resumo: | This paper will explore the double sense of the narrative that sells. On the one hand, the text assumes the question about what makes the success of some fictional narratives that are sold well as products: the best sellers; on the other hand, this text asks about the kind of the narratives that are built to sell something, the advertising narrative, also known by the term storytelling. From this, is sought a possible confluency between the two types of narratives. For the construction of hypotheses for such issues, the paper uses the theoretical and methodological model of narratology. |

Por um lado, parte da pergunta sobre o que faz o sucesso de certas narrativas ficcionais que se vendem bem enquanto produtos, os best sellers; por outro, pergunta-se sobre a natureza das narrativas que são construídas para vender algo, a narrativa publicitária, também conhecida pelo termo storytelling. A partir disso, busca-se a verificação de uma possível confluência entre os dois tipos de narrativas.
