Resumo: | This paper reflects and discusses the musical issue in early childhood education in the context of the municipality of São Gabriel, Rio Grande do Sul State (Brazil), aiming to investigate the practices and intentionalities of activities involving music, considering their impacts on an inclusive and aggregating education. Three aspects stand out in this paper: the current context of reforms in the foundations of our education; the importance of the role of the classroom professional; the formative curriculum of our professionals. The analyzes allowed a broad visualization of the reality in which early childhood education is inserted and, in a broad context, the impact of artistic / musical actions on the transformation of this reality. |

Três aspectos se destacam neste trabalho: o contexto atual de reformas nas bases de nossa educação; a importância do papel do profissional que atua em sala de aula; os currículos formadores de nossos profissionais. As análises permitiram a ampla visualização da realidade em que a educação infantil está inserida e, em um contexto amplo, do impacto das ações artístico/musicais na transformação dessa realidade.
