Resumo: | A research aimed to identify and discuss the importance of evaluation for the provision of quality education in professional schools in Ceará and its influence on learning outcomes. A qualitative study was carried out, with a descriptive nature, in the form of a comparative study, carried out by means of bibliographic survey, documentary research, on-site observation, application of questionnaires and semi-structured investigations, among teen high and low income professional schools, that offer this type of integrated education to high school, based on external results. The study confirms the essentiality of the assessment in the educational context, based on adverse behaviors between the two groups surveyed.Key-words: evaluative practices; professional education; quality. |

The study confirms the essentiality of the assessment in the educational context, based on adverse behaviors between the two groups surveyed.Key-words: evaluative practices; professional education; quality.Por meio texto apresenta-se resultado de uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo identificar e discutir a importância da avaliação para a oferta educacional de qualidade nas escolas profissionlizantes do Ceará e sua influência nos resultados da aprendizagem. Realizou-se um estudo de natureza qualitativa, com cunho descritivo, na forma de estudo comparativo, feito por meio de levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisa documental, observação in loco , aplicação de questionários e investigações semiestruturadas em dez escolas profissionais de alto e baixo rendimento, que ofertam essa modalidade de educação integrada ao ensino médio, com base em resultados de externos.
