Swot analysis as a strategic tool in the evaluating process of the Public Administration course of the IFPB

Resumo: The research investigates the use of Swot analysis as a strategic management tool for the Bachelor of Public Administration, from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba, in view of the application of the instrument for evaluating undergraduate courses during the external evaluation for the renewal of recognition of the course. The research is a case study, of an applied nature, qualitative approach and descriptive objective, with data collection performed by documentary procedure. The Swot analysis was used as a tool to identify weaknesses and strengths, through the concepts obtained by the performance indicators present in the external on-site evaluation published in May 2017.

A pesquisa é um estudo de caso, de natureza aplicada, abordagem qualitativa e objetivo descritivo, com coleta de dados realizada por procedimento documental.
