Assessment in large scale in times of inclusive education policies

This paper aimed at investigating the historical, political and legal process which took to the implementation of large scale evaluation policies and the possible relations with the policies of school inclusion in a national context. The methodology started from a bibliographical research, using a survey of scientific production in the database Scielo. Large Scale Evaluation has been the starting point for the pedagogical work in the Brazilian schools, acting as a regulator of this action as it mobilizes institutions and teachers in the aim of changing their practices with the goal of having a good score at Ideb. We could not find any pieces of research approaching large scale evaluation and the participation of students who are target of special education.Key-words: public policies; large scale evaluation; inclusive education.
