Paradigm of inclusion as utopia in Freire’s perspective

Resumo: | This work is a clipping from the thought of Paulo Freire and it seeks to analyze his contribution to the process of rupture with the exclusionary practices towards inclusion. Freire’s concept of utopia is the basis of our thinking, given that we advocate the inclusion as a “viable unprecedented” based on his work. His thought is marked by the struggle against discrimination, in relentless pursuit of overcoming the oppressor-oppressed relationship. Believing in the world’s change by Paulo Freire’s ways of commuion, dialogue and awareness is to believe in the human being’s ability of feeding the utopian ideal of change, in which the inclusion is, nowadays, one of the greatest of all dreams: a reality where oppressors and oppressed are, in fact, free from the imprisoning chains of prejudice, discrimination and injustice. This is one of the richest and most important legacies left by him to the society of our time: respect for humans for their most valuable feature, their humanity. |

Seu conceito de utopia é a base da nossa reflexão, pois é a partir dele que defendemos a inclusão como um “inédito viável”. Seu pensamento é marcado pela luta contra qualquer discriminação, na busca incessante pela superação da relação opressor-oprimido. Acreditar na transformação do mundo pelos caminhos freirianos da comunhão, do diálogo, da conscientização é acreditar na capacidade de todos os seres humanos alimentarem juntos o ideal utópico da mudança, no qual a inclusão é, nos nossos dias, um dos maiores de todos os sonhos: uma realidade onde opressores e oprimidos se façam, de fato, livres dos elos aprisionantes do preconceito, da discriminação e da injustiça.
