Resumo: his paper aims to find and describe perspectives and attitudes of teachers face to the inclusive education of children with special needs of education. Thus, a survey was made to a sample of early childhood teachers in the municipality of Évora. Main results allow to conclude that teachers have some difficulties in their initial formation but are well prepared because they have specific training in special education. Teachers globally have a favourable attitude towards the inclusive education which frequently depends on the existence of material and human resources and discriminatory attitudes addressed to children with special needs of education are yet present.
