Pedagogical Practices in Inclusive Education and Deaf Education: a study on the encouragement of potentialities

Resumo: This article is a theoretical review about the impact that pedagogical practices of inclusion can bring to encourage the potential of Deaf students and students with disabilities in Brazil. The motivation for this study was due to the focus of the literature on the subject being on the needs of these students and not on their potential. Thus, this work aims to verify if there are pedagogical practices to conduce to the development of the potential of these students in each of the four categories listed by Pescador and Domínguez (2001), under which a school is constituted: the classroom in the student interaction / teacher, curriculum design, school management and interaction with society. The method of this work deals with a qualitative research with literature review that used as base of data collection: SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), books and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTB) with the theme on pedagogical practices of Inclusion. It became evident that, although the view on the insertion of Deaf or disabled students in common classrooms is changing, the pedagogical practices of inclusion are still focused on the needs and not on the potential of these people

Por lo tanto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo verificar  si  existen prácticas pedagógicas que conduzcan al desarrollo del potencial de estos estudiantes en cada una de las cuatro categorías enumeradas por Pescador y Domínguez (2001), bajo las cuales se constituye una escuela: el aula en la interacción del estudiante / docente, diseño curricular, gestión escolar e interacción con la sociedad. El método de este trabajo está anclado en una investigación cualitativa con revisión de literatura que se utilizó como base para la recopilación de datos: SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), libros y la Biblioteca Digital Brasileña de Tesis y Disertaciones (BDTB) con el tema sobre prácticas pedagógicas de inclusión. Se hizo evidente que, aunque la opinión sobre la inserción de estudiantes sordos o discapacitados en aulas regulares está cambiando, las prácticas pedagógicas de inclusión todavía se centran en las necesidades y no en el potencial de esta audiencia.O presente artigo é uma revisão teórica acerca do impacto que as práticas pedagógicas de inclusão podem trazer para o incentivo das potencialidades dos estudantes Surdos e estudantes com deficiência no Brasil. A motivação para este estudo se deu devido ao enfoque da literatura sobre o tema estar nas necessidades desses estudantes e não em suas potencialidades. Assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo verificar se há práticas pedagógicas que conduzem ao desenvolvimento das potencialidades desses educandos em cada uma das quatro categorias elencadas por Pescador e Domínguez (2001), sob as quais uma escola se constitui: a sala de aula na interação aluno/professor, o projeto curricular, a gestão escolar e a interação com a sociedade. O método deste trabalho ancora- se numa pesquisa qualitativa com revisão de literatura que utilizou como base de coleta de dados: a SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), livros e a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTB) com a temática sobre as práticas pedagógicas de Inclusão.
