Resumo: | In this article we intend to discuss how the teacher´s social representations operates, based on the fact that the human constitution is the result of the multiple appropriations of cultural signs and characterized by the psychic development and the self-control of the conduct in the collective context. In this perspective the work is understood as the decisive factor in the process of humanization of the psyche and is directly related to the historical products and processes of mediation that act in the development of concepts that will form the representations about the phenomena that surround us. Social representations depict this system of thought, marking the inseparability between the social and the individual, which are merged through the process of semiotic and instrumental mediation. Teachers are likewise subjected to this structure of thought formation and, therefore, their representations act directly on the pedagogical act, intertwining theoretical knowledge and their emotional equipment, not always conscious. |
