Resumo: This paper addresses the initial data of the project “Representations of the teaching act” linked to the research line Linguagem e Interação at UFSM. The aim is to analyze the representations of the teaching act in texts (official documents, teachers’ speeches, textbooks, media) concerning education. The theoretical approach is based on sociodiscursive interactionism by Bronckart. In one of the actions of the project, we have analyzed the representations of the teaching act performed by students of a Language Course along their initial formation. Here, we focus on the representations from the texts as they define what it is to be a teacher.

O objetivo do projeto é analisar as representações do agir docente em textos (documentos oficiais, discurso de professores,  livros  didáticos,  mídia)  pertinentes  à  atividade  educacional.  O  referencial teórico  é  baseado  no  Interacionismo  Sociodiscursivo  (ISD),  de  Bronckart.  Em  uma  das ações desse projeto, analisamos as representações do agir docente assumidas por alunos de um curso de licenciatura em Letras ao longo de sua formação inicial.
