Caderno didático do território do Geoparque Quarta Colônia Aspirante UNESCO: uma ferramenta da geoeducação

Resumo: | In Brazil, textbooks are distributed free of charge by the National Book and Teaching Material Program (PNLD), covering, since 2015, all curricular subjects and all years/grades. However, these books have a commercial character, being sold throughout the national territory and, therefore, bringing examples on a national-international scale. It is understood that the student feels more motivated in the classroom when he makes connections between the syllabus and his daily life, and it is precisely on this line of reasoning that heritage education (also called geoeducation) is based to substantiate his need. Educating about heritage means helping the student to learn about what surrounds him and to feel belonging to this territory, seeking to preserve it. However, there is a deficit of teaching materials that fulfill this role, and it is necessary to produce them. In this perspective, the present work aimed to build a textbook on the territory of the Quarta Colônia Aspirante Unesco Geopark, in order to subsidize the Geography classes of Elementary School, offering assistance to the qualification of knowledge in geoeducation in the schools of the territory. The aforementioned geopark has 2,923 km², distributed in 9 municipalities, which together have a population of approximately 60,000 inhabitants, and represents a territory of high geoheritage value, which claims certification as a UNESCO world geopark. Methodologically, an exploratory qualitative approach was used, with bibliographic and documental research being carried out, guided by weekly meetings. The results achieved regarding the final product were satisfactory and fit within what was idealized for the textbook. Structurally has five units, that present, respectively, the general/political characterization of the territory, the municipalities and particular elements of each one, the relief, the hydrography and the landscape. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the textbook will be provided, at least in a virtual way, to the schools that make up the territory of the Quarta Colônia Aspirante Unesco Geopark and it is expected, therefore, that it will be a significant resource for student learning. |

No entanto, esses livros possuem um caráter comercial, sendo vendidos para todo o território nacional e, logo, trazendo exemplificações de escala nacionalinternacional. É entendido que o discente se sente mais motivado em sala de aula quando faz ligações entre o conteúdo programático e seu cotidiano, sendo justamente essa linha de raciocínio que a educação patrimonial (dentro da qual se coloca a geoeducação) se baseia para fundamentar sua necessidade. Educar sobre o patrimônio do território significa auxiliar o educando a aprender sobre o que lhe rodeia e se sentir pertencente a esse território, buscando conservá-lo. No entanto, há um déficit de materiais didáticos que cumpram esse papel, sendo necessário produzi-los. Nessa perspectiva, o presente trabalho teve por objetivo construir um caderno didático acerca do território do Geoparque Quarta Colônia Aspirante UNESCO, a fim de subsidiar as aulas de Geografia do Ensino Fundamental, oferecendo auxílio à qualificação do conhecimento em geoeducação e educação patrimonial nas escolas do território. O referido geoparque possui 2.923 km², distribuídos em 9 municípios, que, juntos, somam uma população de aproximadamente a 60 mil habitantes, e representa um território com alto valor geopatrimonial, que pleiteia a certificação como geoparque mundial da UNESCO. Metodologicamente foi utilizada a abordagem qualitativa exploratória, sendo realizadas pesquisas bibliográficas e documentais que foram orientadas por reuniões semanais. Os resultados alcançados referentes ao produto final foram satisfatórios e se enquadram dentro do que se idealizava para o caderno didático, sendo estruturalmente organizado em 5 unidades que apresentam, respectivamente, a caracterização geral/política do território, os municípios e elementos particulares de cada um, o relevo, a hidrografia e a paisagem.
