This work presents a suggested activity that addresses the Pigeonhole Principle by solving problems in Elementary School. The goal is to show how a content studied in Master's degree in Mathematics can be performed in Elementary School, which is attended by the author of this work, bringing benefits to the school and consequently for learning students. The difficulty of these activities increases gradually so that the first uses concrete material, the second is related to everyday issues and requires abstraction and, the third and last activity, is a much more complex challenge. How these activities were performed in a class of ninth grade of Elementary School in a public school in Porto Alegre - RS and the results presented by the students are exposed and analyzed in the course of this dissertation. This work is closed concluding that the activities have reached their goals.
