Tempos e espaços escolares : as experiências de duas alunas com deficiência múltipla em escola da rede municipal de ensino de São Paulo

A pesquisa ocorreu em escola da rede pública de ensino pertencente ao município de São Paulo, localizada na zona norte. Duas alunas do 1º ano do ciclo de alfabetização, matriculadas em turmas diferentes e, também, no Atendimento Educacional Especializado foram acompanhadas pelo olhar atento da pesquisadora pelo período do ano letivo de 2015. A pesquisa foi organizada com base na proposta de Geertz (2012) com destaque para a elaboração de descrições densas para se compreender cotidianos específicos, no caso dessa pesquisa, o cotidiano escolar. Os dados para análise foram registrados em caderno de campo, com anotações das manifestações do corpo nos tempos e espaços escolares. A escola foi descrita em situações concretas. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa que exigiu percurso etnográfico, de modo a (re) conhecer o microcosmo das crianças de perto e por dentro. A base teórica da pesquisa social microscópica teve como referência Woods (1999; 2013), pesquisador especialista em investigar escolas por dentro, com mergulho no cotidiano escolar. Foram pesquisadas relações e interações face a face tal como teorizadas por Goffman (2010; 2012; 2013; 2015); para a complexidade do estudo da deficiência múltipla foram considerados: Jacob (2012); Cormedi (2015;2011); Mantoan (2015a; 2015b); Mantoan; Santos (2010); Mazotta (2011); Prieto (2011); Prieto et al.(2015a; 2015b), entre outros. No rol referencial foram incluídos legislação vigente e documentos específicos da SME-SP, para análise e discussão da inclusão educacional de alunos com deficiência. O método de registro foi com base no modelo de pesquisas etnográficas propostas por Geertz (2012) e Woods (1999; 2013), com a utilização de caderno e notas de campo. Foram analisadas as interações face a face em vários cenários e cenas escolares, incluindo o trabalho colaborativo entre o AEE e classe omum. Foram registradas também as interações dos profissionais dos serviços de apoios, familiares e demais educadores. A pesquisa permitiu constatar desencontros entre as políticas públicas e a prática diária no processo educacional de alunos, público alvo da educação special; pouca ou nenhuma consideração aos territórios do eu; AEE e classe comum, sem a devida articulação.This thesis aims to investigate the experiences of two students with multiple disabilities, during school time and space. The study was carried out in a public school located on the north side of the city of São Paulo. Two elementary school first-grade female students attending the literacy cycle and enrolled in two different classes as well as the Specialized Educational Service (AEE – Atendimento Educacional Especializado) were followed closely by the researcher’s careful look throughout the academic year of 2015. The study was systematized according to Geertz’s proposal (2012), particularly the drafting of dense descriptions with the purpose of understanding specific everyday environments, or, in the instance of this study, the everyday reality of public schools. The data for the analysis, including the observations of physical manifestations in school times and spaces, were recorded in a journal. The school was described through concrete situations. In order to know (or to recognize) the microcosm of children both in close proximity to them and from inside, the study required an ethnographic journey. The theoretical basis for the microscopic social research had Woods (1999; 2013) as reference, a researcher specialized in investigating schools from within and with an in-depth approach to their daily functionings. Also considered were the face-to-face relationships and interactions as investigated by Goffman (2010; 2012; 2013; 2015). For the complexity of the study of multiple disabilities, the following were considered: Jacob (2012); Cormedi (2015; 2011); Mantoan (2015a; 2015b); Mantoan; Santos (2010); Mazotta (2011); Prieto (2011); Prieto et al. (2015a; 2015b), and others. The list of references included the current legislation and specific SME-SP documents in order to analyze and discuss the educational inclusion of disabled students. The recording method was based on the ethnographic research model proposed by Geertz (2012) and Woods (1999; 2013) with the use of a journal and field notes. Face-to-face interactions were analyzed in a number of different settings and school environments, including the collaborative work between the Specialized Educational Service and the regular classroom. The students’ interactions with professionals from support services, family members and other educators were also recorded. The study found several discrepancies between public policies and the daily practice in the educational process of the students who are the target audience of special education. It also found almost complete absence of the territories of the self, and the lack of proper articulation between the Specialized Educational Service and the regular classroom.232 f.porUniversidade
