Resumo: | The article shares results of ethnographic research that analyzed contradictions in the ways of using the categories disability and diversity in the schooling of children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Addressed the growing offer of therapeutic services for students diagnosed with ASD within the scope of Public Education Networks in the cities of São Paulo and Guarulhos. It identified situations in which the presence of Therapeutic Attendants became an object of controversy, since this presence destabilized the principles of Inclusive Education. It found that there is an ongoing dynamic of appropriation of arguments related to neurodiversity. It concluded that the pedagogical silencing in relation to the theme can be analyzed with the concept of making disability that is developed and presented at the end |

Abordou a crescente oferta de serviços terapêuticos para estudantes diagnosticados com TEA no âmbito das Redes Públicas de Ensino das Cidades de São Paulo e Guarulhos. Identificou situações em que a presença de Atendentes Terapêuticos tornou-se objeto de controvérsias, uma vez que essa presença desestabilizou princípios da Educação Inclusiva. Constatou que está em andamento uma dinâmica de apropriação de argumentos relacionados à neurodiversidade. Concluiu que o silenciamento pedagógico em relação ao tema pode ser analisado com o conceito de deficientização que é desenvolvido apresentado ao The article shares results of ethnographic research that analyzed contradictions in the ways of using the categories disability and diversity in the schooling of children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Addressed the growing offer of therapeutic services for students diagnosed with ASD within the scope of Public Education Networks in the cities of São Paulo and Guarulhos. It identified situations in which the presence of Therapeutic Attendants became an object of controversy, since this presence destabilized the principles of Inclusive Education. It found that there is an ongoing dynamic of appropriation of arguments related to neurodiversity. It concluded that the pedagogical silencing in relation to the theme can be analyzed with the concept of making disability that is developed and presented at the end |
