BRAZIL AND ENGLAND: NEW LINGUISTIC-IDENTITY-CULTURAL REPERTOIRES OF MATO GROSSO ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Resumo: This article shares reflections on the identity-cultural experiences of three English language teachers from the Mato Grosso State Public Education System, belonging to the Regional Education Board of Sinop, participants in the International Exchange Program in England, 2023. It is a qualitative study, of an ethnographic-interpretative nature. The analytical corpus consists of data collected via questionnaire, a logbook, photographic records and interviews. The analysis points out that the exchange provided rich experiences, based on the perception of different realities, which favored the identity-cultural constitution of how the exchange students/teachers perceive themselves and give meanings to the different uses of language.
