THE ROLE OF THE GENRE “SELF-CONFRONTATION INTERVIEW” IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF BEGINNING TEACHERS

Resumo: In this article, we will approach an oral genre that is not constituted as a teaching object, but as an instrument, in the Vygotskian sense, for professional development: the interview in self-confrontation. Although it has been used for more or less two decades in the field of Teacher Education, there are few works that show why the enunciative, discursive and linguistic-discursive characteristics of self-confrontations are likely to contribute to the professional development of the participants. Based on this observation, we will try to summarize the characteristics of the self-confrontations that we identified in previous research to describe some excerpts in which there are changes in the initial representations of teachers in relation to some aspect of their work.

Embora tenha sido utilizada há mais ou menos duas décadas no campo da Formação de Professores, poucos são os trabalhos que mostram porque as características enunciativas, discursivas e linguístico-discursivas das autoconfrontações são suscetíveis de contribuir para o desenvolvimento profissional dos participantes.
