THE ROLE OF THE GENRE “SELF-CONFRONTATION INTERVIEW” IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF BEGINNING TEACHERS

Resumo: | In this article, we will approach an oral genre that is not constituted as a teaching object, but as an instrument, in the Vygotskian sense, for professional development: the interview in self-confrontation. Although it has been used for more or less two decades in the field of Teacher Education, there are few works that show why the enunciative, discursive and linguistic-discursive characteristics of self-confrontations are likely to contribute to the professional development of the participants. Based on this observation, we will try to summarize the characteristics of the self-confrontations that we identified in previous research to describe some excerpts in which there are changes in the initial representations of teachers in relation to some aspect of their work. |

Embora tenha sido utilizada há mais ou menos duas décadas no campo da Formação de Professores, poucos são os trabalhos que mostram porque as características enunciativas, discursivas e linguístico-discursivas das autoconfrontações são suscetíveis de contribuir para o desenvolvimento profissional dos participantes.
