Resumo: ABSTRACT. The purpose of this article is to reflect on the importance of promoting public policies for continuing education aimed at teachers working in rural schools. In this sense, we discuss the need of working with the specificities of the rural area, bringing the potential of continuing education. As results, a specific training proposal is presented for teachers working in the rural schools, which intends to add different peasant knowledge, with the participation of the different segments of the rural community. Therefore, this study intends to foster the creation of policies for continuing education that make it possible to connect rural education to a project of sustainable and contemporary development that sensitize the subject coming from that environment in a way that can glimpse the possibilities that refer to the stay in the countryside with quality.

El artículo tiene por finalidad hacer reflexiones acerca de la importancia de fomentar políticas públicas de formación continuada direccionadas a profesores que actúan en escuelas de campo. En ese sentido, se discute sobre la necesidad de trabajar con las especificidades oriundas de la zona rural trayendo las potencialidades de la formación continuada. Como resultados, se presenta una propuesta de formación específica para profesores que actúan en las escuelas de campo, la cual pretende añadir diferentes conocimientos campesinos, con la participación de los diversos segmentos de la comunidad rural. Por lo tanto, con ese estudio se pretende fomentar la creación de políticas de formación continuada que viabilicen conectar la educación del campo a un proyecto de desarrollo sostenible y contemporáneo, que sensibilice al sujeto oriundo de ese medio de manera que pueda vislumbrar las posibilidades que le remiten a la permanencia en el campo con calidad.O artigo tem por finalidade tecer reflexões sobre a importância de fomentar políticas públicas de formação continuada voltadas para professores que atuam em escolas do campo. Nesse sentido, discute-se sobre a necessidade de trabalhar com as especificidades oriundas da zona rural trazendo as potencialidades da formação continuada. Como resultados, apresenta-se uma proposta de formação específica para docentes que atuam nas escolas do campo, a qual intenciona agregar diferentes saberes campesinos, com a participação dos diversos segmentos da comunidade rural. Portanto, com este estudo intenciona-se fomentar a criação de políticas de formação continuada que viabilizem conectar a educação do campo a um projeto de desenvolvimento sustentável e contemporâneo, que sensibilize o sujeito oriundo desse meio de maneira que possa vislumbrar as possibilidades que lhe remetam à permanência no campo com qualidade.
