Teaching Sciences and Mathematics in the ProRural Project in Rondônia (1983-1987)

Resumo: ABSTRACT. The Pro-Rural project was implemented in Rondônia in 1983 to serve the rural school student. He had specific teaching materials, called booklets, in module format. In this sense, the question arises: what conceptions of teaching science and mathematics were disseminated through the didactic materials of this project? In order to try to answer these and other questions, this article aims to analyze the conceptions of science and mathematics teaching spread in Pró-Rural. For discussion and analysis, some Pro-Rural booklets that had access, notably part of Sciences and Mathematics, as well as the pilot project for this project, were used as sources. The results that the contents of the Pro-Rural Project were allowed by the ideals of the Movement of Modern Mathematics (MMM) in the field of mathematics and by a simulation of sciences aimed at caring for problems related to rural men. As final considerations, there are for the Teaching of Accounting Sciences that discuss the main problems of the region (ex. Malaria), step by step for the Teaching of Mathematics, strong conceptions of the Modern Mathematics Movement.

Para intentar responder a estas y otras preguntas, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las concepciones de la enseñanza de la ciencia y las matemáticas difundidas en Pró-Rural. Para discusión y análisis, se utilizaron como fuentes algunos folletos prorurales que tenían acceso, en particular parte de Ciencia y Matemáticas, así como el proyecto piloto para este proyecto. Los resultados de que los contenidos del Proyecto Pro-Rural fueron permitidos por los ideales del Movimiento de Matemáticas Modernas (MMM) en el campo de las matemáticas y por una simulación de ciencias destinadas a atender los problemas relacionados con los hombres rurales. Como consideraciones finales, existen para la Enseñanza de las Ciencias de la Contabilidad que discuten los principales problemas de la región (ej. Malaria), paso a paso para la Enseñanza de las Matemáticas, concepciones fuertes del Movimiento de las Matemáticas Modernas.ABSTRACT. Ele tinha materiais didáticos específicos, denominados de cartilhas, em formato de módulos. Nesse sentido, surge a seguinte questão: que concepções de ensino de ciências e matemática foram difundidas por meio dos materiais didáticos desse projeto? Para tentar responder essa e outras questões, o presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar as concepções de ensino de ciências e matemática difundidas no Pró-Rural. Para a discussão e análise, foram utilizados como fontes algumas cartilhas do Pró-Rural que tivemos acesso, notadamente da parte de Ciências e Matemática, bem como, o seu Projeto-piloto. Os resultados indicam que os conteúdos do Projeto Pró-Rural foram permeados pelas ideais do Movimento da Matemática Moderna (MMM) no campo da matemática e por uma concepção de ciências voltada aos cuidados com os problemas regionais enfrentados pelo homem do campo. Como considerações finais, tem-se para o Ensino de Ciências conteúdos que discutiam os principais problemas da região (ex. Malária), ao passo que para o Ensino de Matemática, fortes concepções do Movimento da Matemática Moderna.
